Founding of the Schönberger Ebonite Manufaktur in 2006 by Meike Huijssen, Business Administrator In cooperation with experts who have many years of experience in the production of hard rubber powder, semi-finished products, and finished products.

The former sand-lime brick plant, situated on a 28,000 m² lot in an idyllic location directly on the Elbe River, boasts nearly inexhaustible production capacity thanks to its 10 autoclaves, each 2.5 m in diameter and 18 m long.

The company is Owner-managed and 100% equity-financed. The sole shareholder is Ms. Meike Huijssen. Her son, Adriaan Huijssen, who is an authorized signatory of the company, has been involved in management for 7 years.

Together, the team is constantly working on new versions and applications for this unique material.
