eboDUST Features and Specifications:
Due to its unique properties (resistance to saltwater, acids, and alkalis; electrical insulation; high strength combined with low density; high lubricity; and high abrasion resistance), our ebonite is used in compounds for lining tanks, silos, and pipelines; as coatings for rollers and cylinders; in the electrical, marine, and medical technology sectors; in machinery and pump manufacturing; in the optical industry; and in many other fields.
Our powder also allows for some residual flexibility within the mixture and is therefore used as a base for mixtures in the abrasives industry.
If you Questions to our unique material We would be happy to explain to you the processing and application of our ebonite powder, as well as the possibilities it offers.
Our standard particle sizes are:
- HRD 90 mµ
- HRD 100 μm
- HRD 120 mµ
- HRD 140 mµ
- HRD 160 mµ
Custom sizes are available upon request.
eboDUST Description
- Rubber (Crepe No. 1)
- Flaxseed oil
- Sulfur
The mixture is vulcanized in autoclaves in the form of sheets, which makes them hard and black. The sheets are then shredded into granules. The granules are ground into a fine powder and finally filtered to the desired particle size.
eboDUST Applications:
Ebonite powder is the ideal filler for rubber compounds used in the manufacture of the following products:
Molded parts with elevated acoustic, tactile, visual, electronic, mechanical, chemical, and medical requirements.
Components for Shipbuilding and Mechanical Engineering
- Gaskets
- Valves
- Pumps
- Electrical and Electronic Insulating Materials
- Multi-component products
- The one that Corrosion Protection serve
- For chemical-resistant sheathing
- For lining
- For *The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo*
for coating and lining tanks, pipelines, and valves. Due to the smoothness of the finished product's surface, our eboDUST It is also used in compounds for coating high-quality rollers in the printing and paper industries.
In the abrasives industry, our eboDUST used as an additive in mixtures for coating grinding wheels and abrasives. Due to its residual flexibility and low abrasiveness, the abrasive has a significantly longer service life than abrasives made with alternative base materials.
